Russell is a native of Arkansas and currently lives in Bryant. He has been married to his wife Joyce for more than 40 years and is the father of three adult children and grandfather to four living grandchildren. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking competition level BBQ, golfing, hunting, working with his hands, spending time with his family, and cutting lumber on his TimberKing sawmill.
