Personal Experience
Jim Pope is a dedicated leader, mentor, and advocate with more than 35 years of experience serving as an Associate Pastor, working with youth, young adults, and their families. Throughout his ministry career, he has faithfully served churches across Arkansas, Texas, and Michigan, investing in the lives of countless individuals and helping them grow spiritually, personally, and professionally.
A passionate developer of people, Jim has spent over 30 years identifying, training, and empowering student leaders. He has consistently led teams of volunteers throughout his career, fostering environments where individuals can discover their gifts, build confidence, and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
In addition to his ministry experience, Jim coached high school basketball for five years, where he focused on developing athletes both on and off the court. His commitment to coaching, mentoring, and helping others grow has remained a central part of his life and leadership philosophy.
Jim has also worked in the insurance industry, helping individuals and families protect what matters most, and has served as a part-time supervisor with UPS, further demonstrating his strong work ethic, leadership skills, and commitment to serving others. At the heart of everything Jim does is a passion for helping people. He finds great joy in advocating for others, walking alongside them as they pursue their goals, and helping them reach their full potential. Whether in ministry, business, coaching, or everyday life, Jim is known as someone who works hard, cares deeply, and is dedicated to serving others.
Raised in Arkansas, Jim is a goal-oriented individual who enjoys exercise, hiking, reading, and meeting new people. His life and career reflect a lifelong commitment to leadership, service, and making a positive difference in the lives of others.
