Personal Experience
Before joining the CBI Team in Central Arkansas as a Business Broker, Stephen built a distinguished 30‑year career as a BIM Manager and Structural Designer at several midsized firms. He led teams, coordinated complex project development, and oversaw critical technical and operational workflows—experience that demanded precision, accountability, and disciplined leadership.
Alongside his design and management career, Stephen founded a successful software company in 1997 and grew it into a profitable enterprise. He and his wife also manage their own real estate portfolio. These ownership and leadership experiences gave Stephen a practical understanding of how businesses create value, where operational strength comes from, and what owners face when preparing for a transition. That perspective naturally led him to business brokerage, where he now applies his business‑building background to help sellers navigate one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.
Stephen brings a seller‑first approach grounded in clarity, preparation, and strong market positioning. He excels at identifying the strengths of each business, crafting a tailored strategy, and presenting the opportunity in a way that attracts qualified buyers and drives competitive outcomes. His focus is simple: protect value, reduce uncertainty, and deliver the strongest possible result for every client he serves.
Originally from south Arkansas, Stephen has made central Arkansas his home since 1992. He graduated from Southern Arkansas University Tech with a degree in Computer‑Aided Design, where he served as President of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and was named Outstanding Graduate.
