Bobby’s Country Cookin’ transferred ownership on January 16, 2015 thanks to the hard work and deal making abilities of Shep Campbell and the rest of the CBI+Team of Central Arkansas. Terry Matyskiela has owned and operated the restaurant since 1998 when he bought the once distressed business from its previous owner. After buying the business, Mr. Matyskiela moved the location to 301 N. Shackleford and resuscitated the business to the point that it experienced 15 consecutive years of increased sales. In October of 2014 Mr. Matyskiela decided it was time to retire so he reached out to Shep Campbell of the CBI+Team to help him begin the process of selling his business. Within 3 months of their initial meeting the business was sold!

Shep Campbell, Intermediary and Connor Grimes, Managing Partner of the CBI+Team office in Little Rock held an initial meeting with Terry Matyskiela to lay the groundwork for preparing his business for sale. After this meeting, the CBI+Team confidentially placed Bobby’s Country Cookin’ onto its business-for-sale website ( along with 18l other prominent websites to find a match for the restaurant. Shep also began scouring CBI+Team’s network of buyers to see if there would be any interested parties. Within a few months hundreds of buyers were reached, but one stood out above the rest, Larry Buttram. Shep setup a meeting between the Buyer and Seller and an immediate relationship was formed between the two parties. Shortly thereafter, an offer was written and presented to Terry and his wife, Linda. After some negotiation, Bobby’s Country Cookin’ was under contract and set for closing.
