Mark Kincannon is the owner/managing partner of the CBI+Team’s Fort Smith-River Valley office. He was born in Fort Smith, but spent most of his school age years in Little Rock. He graduated from J.A. Fair High School in 1994 where he played basketball and baseball. He went on to play baseball in college where he was an Academic All-American his sophomore year and served his senior year as captain for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He graduated from UALR with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. After finishing his undergraduate degree he later completed a Masters of Arts in Theological Studies from Southern Seminary in Louisville Kentucky.

Kincannon married his high school sweetheart Michelle in 2000.  She graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where she was also a cheerleader for the Razorbacks.  She currently oversees finances and human resources as Administrator for Community Bible Church.  They have three children Mason, Maddax, and Mackenzie who all attend Woods Elementary School in Fort Smith.

Kincannon has spent most of his adult life coaching baseball at various levels.  His first coaching job came as he was working on his graduate degree in Louisville.  He was an assistant coach at The Christian Academy of Louisville.  Coaching is what brought Kincannon back to Fort Smith, as he became the head baseball coach at Fort Smith Christian School.   During his three years coaching and teaching at Fort Smith Christian he became the schools Athletic Director.  Kincannon went on to win a state championship as a head coach in Fort Smith’s American Legion baseball program where he coached for six years.  He spent two years as an assistant coach at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.  He currently is a volunteer assistant coach at Greenwood High School.

Following his time at Fort Smith Christian, Kincannon accepted the position of Groups Pastor at Community Bible Church in Fort Smith.  During his nine years as a pastor at Community Bible Church he served in various capacities.  He was point leader as the church launched their Van Buren and Greenwood Campuses.  He also served as the church’s Executive Pastor.  He continues to serve at Community as a volunteer.

Kincannon felt led to move out of vocational church ministry and into the business world where helped develop the Fort Smith and River Valley territory for an automotive fluid manufacturing and distribution company.

The buying or selling of a business can be one of the biggest moments of a person’s life.  The leadership, trustworthiness, and communication skills that Kincannon brings to the CBI+Team assist the team as he helps clients navigate some of the most stressful experiences of their career.
